Research and Analysis

Since teaching research techniques to thousands of college- bound high school students from 1986-95, I've worked as a professional journalist, publishing over 5,000 articles on a great variety of subjects. As one might expect, Internet searching has been integral to my professional life for many years. I've also conducted hundreds of interviews with newsmakers and worked extensively in dozens of libraries and archives. I pride myself on my abilities to find information quickly, corroborate it dependably, and see it clearly in its larger contexts. I'm analytical by nature -- a faculty I augmented with a degree in philosophy and 40 years of omnivorous reading. My years as a securities and commodities broker also demanded and honed excellent analytical skills.
