Writer and Editor

I've written, edited, and sold more than 5,000 newspaper features to a total of over 50 different Midwestern papers. Along the way, I've served as managing editor for two of them and de facto editor for a third. My first book was published in 2000; more are in the works.

A large portion of what I've written professionally was done specifically for the Net -- and nearly all of that was upoaded to Web pages for which I wrote the HTML. As a result, I've developed a lucid, hands-on understanding of how best to write computer code so as to blend text, graphics and well-produced audio into dependable and aesthetically pleasing Web pages.
